SSC is ready to conduct SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Posts Exam 2014 to be conducted on 16 February 2013 and 23 February 2013. The last date for submission of application process is 13 December 2013.
The candidates will be shortlisted for the Paper-II on the basis of their performance in Paper-I. Paper-II will only of qualifying nature. The cut-offs in Paper-I and qualifying marks in Paper-II may be different for vacancies in each State/UT will be fixed at the discretion of the Commission.
Candidates for each State/UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II. It i Provided that SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates, are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies. Such SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates will be accommodated against the general/unreserved vacancies as per their position in the overall Merit List.
The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SCs, STs, OBCs, and PH candidates which will, thus, comprise of SC , ST, OBC and PH candidates who are lower in merit than the last general candidate in merit list of unreserved category but otherwise found suitable for appointment even by relaxed standard.
